CANCELLATION POLICY
Cancellation charges are based on how many days before the date of your original booking we receive your cancellation notice, and reflect a percentage of the total cost of your booking.
Making a Change Or Cancelling Your Booking
You must ensure all names and details are entered correctly at the time of booking. You will receive an invoice once your booking is confirmed and must contact us straight away if there is something that you need to correct, or if you don’t receive an invoice within 7 days of confirming your booking.
Please note that the deposit is non refundable and changes and cancellations to all or part of a booking are subject to amendment and cancellation fees of £25, so that we can cover the cost of processing your cancellation. You are responsible for paying this charge.

When changing your accommodation, the price of your new arrangements will be based on the price that applies on the day you make the change. These prices may not be the same as when you first made your booking. Some accommodation is priced according to the number of people staying there. If your party size changes, we’ll recalculate your booking cost based on the new number of people going. If fewer people share the accommodation, then the cost per person may go up. This extra cost isn’t a cancellation charge, and it isn’t normally covered by insurance. Some arrangements cannot be removed once they have been added to your booking. These include: transfers and accommodation options such as early access and late checkout from rooms.
After 30 Days of booking and your deposit being received there is a Loss of deposit.
Cancellation terms apply to any person who cancels from a group booking. (see breakdown below).

If We Change or Cancel
As we plan your holiday arrangements many months in advance we may occasionally have to make changes or cancel your booking and we reserve the right to do so at any time.
Changes: If we make a minor change to your holiday, we will make reasonable efforts to inform you as soon as reasonably possible if there is time before your departure but we will have no liability to you. A change of accommodation to another of the same or higher standard is an example of a minor change.
Occasionally we may have to make a major change to your confirmed arrangements. ”Examples of “major changes” include the following, when made before departure: A change of accommodation area for the whole or a significant part of your time away.
A change of accommodation to that of a lower standard or classification for the whole or a significant part of your time away.
Cancellation: We will not cancel your travel arrangements less than [30 days] before your departure date, except for reasons of force majeure or failure by you to pay the final balance.
If we have to cancel an event, we will tell you as soon as possible and we will offer you the choice of:
i A rescheduled event in summer 2021 and accepting the changed arrangements;
ii transferring your event/holiday to our 'Summer Breeze Soul Week' 2022.
iii your choice of a revised holiday or break arranged with Summer Breeze in the same resort and hotel (terms apply)
iv a refund
Rescheduling:
If you have at any time requested, or agreed to your booking being carried over to a following year or other Summer Breeze holiday or event your booking confirmation should be regarded as confirmation of this. The booking confirmation cannot be exchanged or redeemed for a refund. Please note that the original date you placed the booking remains in place. The booking confirmation is non transferable and can be used in the following ways
i/ to book another Summer Breeze Holiday event using the same account as the original booking. The new booking must be with Summer Breeze. If the new booking is greater than the voucher value, the difference must be paid. If the new booking is lower in value*, the remaining value is stored and can be used on future bookings. *Note that the number of guests on any booking must remain the same as the original booking. If the numbers are lower on a booking this will be deemed as a cancellation of part of the booking and no refund in part is due.
ii/ the voucher can be used to book another holiday or break arranged with Summer Breeze in the same resort and hotel.
Once we receive your request to change or cancel your booking, you should expect to receive a updated invoice within 7 days. If you do not then please contact us at: bookings@summerbreezesoulweek.com
You must notify us of your choice within 7 days of our offer. If you fail to do so we will assume that you have chosen to accept the change or alternative booking arrangements.
If you have requested a transfer of your booking to 2022 as part of our goodwill initiative, please note that all correspondence will be emailed to the account holder that made the original booking. If you wish to go ahead with the transfer of the booking to the 2022 event your decision must be confirmed by email to: bookings@summerbreezesoulweek.com within 48 hours of receiving this message".
If you have agreed to move your break your decision is deemed to be accepting this agreement under our terms.
Compensation: If we cancel or make a major change less than [30 days] before departure, we will pay compensation as detailed below. The compensation that we offer does not exclude you from claiming more if you are entitled to do so except for reasons of force majeure or failure by you to pay the final balance

IMPORTANT NOTE: We will not pay you compensation in the following circumstances:
where we make a minor change;
where we make a major change or cancel your arrangements more than [30 days] before departure;
where we have to cancel your arrangements as a result of your failure to make full payment on time;
where the change or cancellation by us arises out of alterations to the confirmed booking requested by you;
where we are forced to cancel or change your arrangements due to an Act of God or Force Majeure.
Please note: where accommodation with a higher price than the original accommodation is offered by us and accepted by you, the difference in price will be deducted from any compensation payable. In no case will we pay compensation if accommodation is offered by us and accepted by you with a higher price than that originally booked in the same location where no additional payment is made by you.
